LIFT Grants program

Libraries. Innovation. Funding. Training.

Welcome!

The LIFT Grants program assists Georgia public libraries with the planning and management of library grants. Additional support is provided through educational opportunities related to grant seeking. Libraries can choose as little or as much help as they need, either through contacting LIFT Grants staff directly and/or a self-service clearinghouse of resources.

The Available Grants page has a list of open grant opportunities that are updated weekly. The Discretionary Grants page highlights discretionary grant opportunities provided by GPLS to the 60 public library systems in Georgia. The Spotlight Grants page are dedicated pages for large grants from external sources with information solely for that grant. The Funded Grants page has a list of successfully funded grants awarded to Georgia public libraries, including those that used LIFT as a resource. The Resources page is a clearinghouse of tips, tools, and tutorials to assist any level of grant seeker. The Frequently Asked Questions page is a compiled list of all grant-related questions received to date.

For questions, please contact the LIFT Grants Help Desk or join our LIFT Grants mailing list. Happy grant hunting!
